Job summary

Core Talent in Sydney seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead premier residential and mixed-use developments from concept through completion on a portfolio valued at $100M+ per project.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes, budgets, procurement and safety, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships to deliver landmark projects across the Sydney market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering residential or mixed-use developments valued at $100M+.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts and procurement.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Tier 2 builders/developers is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

• Lead successful delivery of mixed-use and residential projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and delivery teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Drive quality, safety and programme performance across the lifecycle.
• Identify and manage project risks and implement delivery strategies.
• Oversee contract administration, financial reporting and documentation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading residential developer builder delivering high-quality mixed-use and Class 2 residential developments across Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of landmark projects. You will take ownership of projects from design through to completion, leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery across programme, budget, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the successful delivery of mixed-use and Class 2 residential developments from pre-construction through to completion
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement, and commercial outcomes
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and internal delivery teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key project stakeholders
• Drive quality, safety, and programme performance throughout the construction lifecycle
• Identify and manage project risks while implementing effective delivery strategies
• Oversee contract administration, financial reporting, forecasting, and project documentation
• Mentor and lead site-based teams to achieve successful project outcomes

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering residential or mixed-use developments valued at $100M+
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, contracts, procurement, and project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage programme, budget, quality, and commercial performance
• Experience working for a Tier 2 builder or developer builder will be highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
