Job summary

ALAND is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead property development projects from acquisition through to completion in Sydney. You’ll oversee multi-stage programs, coordinate diverse stakeholders and ensure governance standards are met.

You will influence strategic decisions, manage budgets and deliver high-quality developments reflecting ALAND’s commitment to excellence and sustainability. This role offers a dynamic environment and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience across feasibility, planning, approvals and delivery.
• Strong financial understanding including budgets and cashflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities with attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development workstreams from feasibility to settlements.
• Coordinate programs, action logs and governance materials.
• Prepare project briefs, reports and schedules.
• Update feasibility inputs, cost forecasts and cashflow.
• Track budgets, invoices and POs with governance.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations.
• Support planning submissions and consultant coordination.
• Ensure design/construction aligns with approved brief.
