Job summary

DRA Global Limited seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex engineering projects in the mining and minerals sector. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop practical solutions to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Lead technical reviews, oversee engineering activities, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring other team members.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in engineering project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and technologies.
• Experience mentoring and coaching other team members.
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across all phases of project delivery, including design, analysis, implementation and construction support.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to address project challenges and achieve client objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Oversee engineering activities, monitor project performance, and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with best practices and project standards.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all project activities.
