DRA Global Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to lead complex engineering projects in the mining sector from our Brisbane office. You will provide technical leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes applying engineering principles, regulatory compliance and client specifications, with opportunities to mentor team members and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering project delivery, with a focus on technical leadership.
• Experience mentoring and coaching other team members.
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Project Management Certification desirable; Engineers Australia membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across all phases of project delivery, including design, analysis, implementation and construction support.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to address project challenges and meet client objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to align scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations.
• Oversee engineering activities, monitor performance and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure best practices and project standards.
• Promote safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across project activities.
