DRA Global is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to lead complex mining engineering projects in Brisbane. You will provide technical leadership across design, analysis and construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, on-time, within-budget outcomes and the highest quality standards.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering project delivery with a focus on mineral processing, strong communication and mentoring skills, and a tertiary engineering

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering project delivery with a focus on technical leadership in mineral processing projects.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, processes, and technologies including planning, design and operations.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across all phases of project delivery, including design, analysis, implementation and construction support.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions to address project challenges and achieve client objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Oversee engineering activities, monitor project performance, and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with best practices and project standards.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all project activities.
