Couchbase is seeking a seasoned Solution/Sales Engineer in Sydney or Melbourne to drive and manage technical components of a sales engagement. You will explain Couchbase advantages, map customer challenges to Couchbase ecosystems, and excite customers about our data-driven platform.

The role requires 8+ years in pre-sales or consulting, plus 3+ years in software development, with strong presentation skills and cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Competenze

• 8+ years in a Pre-Sales/Customer-Facing/Consulting role.
• 3+ years of experience in software development or related industries.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases or other distributed high-performance systems.
• Excellent presentation skills with ability to present technical solutions concisely to stakeholders.

• Operate in a consultative process with customers to define challenges and opportunities.
• Map challenges to the Couchbase Ecosystem and present differentiating value.
• Educate customers and act as a trusted advisor on solutions.
