Job summary

Hatch is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to provide leadership and strategic oversight of planning and scheduling across large-scale EPCM and EPC projects in Perth. You will drive best-practice project controls, schedule governance, forecasting, risk management and reporting to ensure safe, efficient delivery that meets client expectations.

The role requires extensive execution planning, critical path and schedule risk analysis expertise, plus on-site EPCM/EPC projects experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ similar experience in an execution project environment with detailed knowledge of Execution Planning, schedule quantitative risk analysis, schedule maintenance and change management, progress measurement and evaluation, trending and forecasting, and reporting.
• 5+ years’ on-site construction experience in an EPCM or EPC environment.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Planning team to ensure staffing and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Own the delivery of the Planning & Scheduling function, including execution planning, schedule maintenance, change management, progress measurement, forecasting and reporting.
• Establish and maintain planning baselines to manage the project and evaluate performance.
• Perform schedule control with critical path analysis, earned value, schedule variance and risk analysis; recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Update project schedules and prepare management reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate input from client, contractor, vendor and other stakeholders and integrate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
