Job summary

Hatch in Perth, Western Australia, seeks a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead planning and scheduling on large EPCM and EPC projects. You will drive best-practice project controls, schedule governance, forecasting and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.

As a senior member of the Project Delivery Group, you will mentor multidisciplinary planning teams, coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction stakeholders,

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ similar experience in an execution project environment.
• 5+ years’ on-site construction experience in an EPCM or EPC environment.
• Experience in planning and preparing logic diagrams, critical path networks and bar charts.
• Strong leadership and team-player qualities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall delivery of the Planning & Scheduling function including execution planning, schedule maintenance, change management, progress measurement and evaluation, trending and forecasting, and reporting.
• Assign, lead and mentor the Planning team to ensure staff have the necessary skills and a team approach.
• Establish and maintain planning baselines to manage the project and evaluate performance.
• Perform schedule control by determining critical path analysis, planned value, earned value, schedule variance and risk analysis.
• Update project schedules to reflect progress and prepare management reports.
• Publish accurate schedule reporting to inform all project stakeholders.
