Hatch Ltd. in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG).

You will prepare discipline design, studies and documentation to support feasibility and execution, and provide on-site construction and commissioning technical support. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with demonstrated experience and CPEng status, has strong safety culture, and can work across multi-discipline projects in datacentric 3D/BIM

Qualifikationen

• A degree in engineering with demonstrated experience and CPEng status (or the experience necessary to attain this).
• Excellent attitude towards safety
• Demonstrated engineering experience in the mining and metals, infrastructure or energy sectors (or similar heavy industries) including the detailed design for large multi-discipline projects delivered in a datacentric 3D/BIM environment
• Current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to instrumentation and control systems engineering ensuring compliance of design work with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level, including excellent report writing skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites where necessary.
• Experience in Functional Safety and/or ICT systems would be well regarded.
• Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions

Aufgaben

• Prepare discipline design, studies, calculations and documentation to support feasibility studies.
• Prepare detailed engineering for procurement and construction of execution phase projects.
• Develop engineering documentation within the discipline including, but not limited to, design criteria, specifications, datasheets,reports, functional descriptions, lists, calculations and detail drawings.
• Participate in formal multi-discipline engineering review processes and provide input into capital estimates and project schedules.
• Provide on-site construction and commissioning technical support.
