Job summary

Hatch in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Senior Planner to provide leadership and strategic oversight of planning across large EPCM and EPC projects. You will drive best-practice controls, governance and reporting to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with client expectations.

The role requires a seasoned planning professional with 15+ years' experience, on-site EPCM/EPC work, and a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, setting baselines, and delivering complex schedules.

Qualifications

15+ years' similar experience in an execution project environment.
5+ years' on-site construction experience in an EPCM or EPC environment.
Experience in planning and preparing logic diagrams, critical path networks and bar charts.
Strong leadership and team-player qualities.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Planning team to ensure staff have the necessary functional skills and a team approach.
Establish and maintain the planning baselines used to manage the project and evaluate performance.
Perform schedule control by determining critical path, earned value, and schedule risk analysis.
Update project schedules to reflect progress and prepare management reports.
Coordinate input from client, contractor, vendor and other stakeholders.
Publish accurate schedule reporting to inform project decisions and stakeholders.
