Health and Aged Care Professionals in Sydney is seeking a Senior Technical Service Engineer to join the Customer Support and Technical Services team, based out of the Sydney office. You will take ownership of installation, troubleshooting and technical training for a new medical device, supporting regional service teams across Australia, Europe and the US.

You will provide hands-on technical support for complex electromechanical medical devices, collaborate with R&D, manufacturing and service

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical, Mechatronics, Electronics or related engineering field.
• Hands-on experience with installation, fault diagnosis and repair.
• Experience with complex electromechanical equipment in medical devices or regulated industries.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of technical installation requirements, processes and work instructions for a new medical device.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical escalation support to global service engineering teams.
• Investigate complex equipment faults, conduct hands-on testing and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with R&D, design and manufacturing engineers to develop effective technical solutions.
• Develop, review and improve technical service documentation, troubleshooting guides and procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate technical training programmes for international service engineers.
• Engage subject matter experts to support technical investigations and training delivery.
• Support product quality investigations, service improvements and ongoing product development activities.
