Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech team is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Sydney, Australia, to lead end-to-end installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of life-changing heart recovery technology. You will build trusted partnerships with hospitals across Australia and APAC, delivering frontline support and improving service processes.

You will travel across Australia and APAC, ensuring quality, safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with global teams to shape service

Qualifications

• Experience in field service for medical devices or hospital equipment is preferred.
• Able to follow SOPs and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication with hospitals, distributors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end field service across Australia and APAC, from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Provide trusted technical support to hospitals, distributors and internal teams, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Plan and execute service visits with the right parts, tools, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and assets, including equipment history, spare parts, loan devices and calibration.
• Champion quality and compliance by following medical device standards, SOPs and escalation requirements.
• Build the future of APAC service operations through process improvement, training and global collaboration.
• Support service agreement activities, including quotations, renewals, and distributor or customer communication.
