Job summary

Medtronic Horsley Park, Sydney, is seeking an Associate Technical Services Specialist for onsite service, maintenance, and repair of surgical and cardiac capital equipment. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites to provide hands-on support and ensure equipment reliability.

You will diagnose and repair electrosurgical units, high-speed drills, and related devices, document work, and comply with quality and regulatory requirements. A technical degree and driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical or biomedical equipment.
• Experience with cardio and surgical capital devices is preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly to hospitals and customer sites within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport service tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on surgical and cardiac capital equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete repairs to restore performance.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and verification to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document service activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Support installations, upgrades, and customer training as needed.
• Coordinate service activities and communicate status to customers and teams.
