Job summary

Global medical technology leader in Sydney is seeking an experienced Biomedical Service Engineer to join the team. The role blends field service across major hospital sites with hands-on workshop support from the Sydney base, focusing on advanced infusion devices used in critical care environments.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years in biomed/electronics, strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills, and excellent communication with clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years’ experience in biomedical engineering, hospital biomed technician work, or electronics engineering.
• Proven experience servicing medical devices in hospital or clinical environments.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and fault finding capability.

Responsibilities

• Service, support, and troubleshoot advanced infusion devices
• Manage on-site device performance across key Sydney hospital partners
• Conduct preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance verification
• Provide workshop based repairs, testing, and technical support
• Respond to urgent service requests and fault reports
• Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records
• Work closely with clinical staff, biomedical teams, and hospital engineering departments
• Collaborate with national and global technical support teams
• Travel interstate when required
