Indigeco Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician (Medical Devices) for a casual ANZ field-based role. You will service, repair and troubleshoot medical equipment across hospitals and healthcare facilities, sustaining safe and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates will have a technical qualification, a current Australian driver’s licence, and 1–3 years in healthcare or field service environments. You’ll join a collaborative service network and work autonomously on-site and remotely as

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering/IT (TAFE Cert/Diploma/Degree) or similar.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in hospitals/healthcare, customer premises, or technical service environments.
  • Experience servicing, maintaining or troubleshooting technical equipment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field corrective actions, repairs, preventative maintenance and technical service activities.
  • Plan and schedule service work to meet customer requirements and business priorities.
  • Manage service requests end-to-end with clear updates and timely resolution.
  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting (remote and onsite).
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and equipment histories (GDP).
  • Work in line with company policies, industry regulations and quality management requirements.

Field Service Technician (Medical Devices) – Casual | ANZ Field-Based

Join a purpose-driven technical services team supporting hospitals and healthcare providers every day. We’re seeking a customer-focused Field Service Technician to deliver maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and field corrective actions across a range of medical devices and equipment.

This is a casual, hands-on field role, working closely with a Service Centre and a collaborative internal support network (Technical Services, Quality, Regulatory, Customer Service and commercial teams).

You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and operational, while delivering a high standard of service to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. If you enjoy problem-solving, being on the road, and building strong customer relationships, this is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field corrective actions, repairs, preventative maintenance and technical service activities
  • Plan and schedule service work to meet customer requirements and business priorities
  • Manage service requests end-to-end, with clear updates and timely resolution
  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting (remote and onsite)
  • Escalate complex issues through the right support channels for fast outcomesli>
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and equipment histories (Good Documentation Practice / GDP)
  • Support quality initiatives, field actions and continuous improvement activities
  • Complete service reports, inventory transactions, expenses and customer documentation
  • Work in line with company policies, industry regulations and quality management requirements
What you’ll bring
  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering/IT (TAFE Cert/Diploma/Degree) or similar
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • 1–3 years’ experience in hospitals/healthcare, customer premises, or technical service environments
  • Experience servicing, maintaining or troubleshooting technical equipment (highly regarded)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and practical hands-on capability
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Great organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working autonomously, while contributing to a wider team
  • Basic understanding of databases/networking/information systems + MS Office proficiency
