Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant maritime and coastal engineering experience.
• Experience in design, assessment and delivery of ports, harbours and marine infrastructure.
• Strong consulting, engineering or project delivery experience.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Eligibility to work on Australian Defence-related projects; Citizenship and security clearances are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership across maritime and coastal engineering projects.
• Supporting the delivery of major projects across our national maritime portfolio.
• Leading or supporting project management and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
• Contributing to business development activities, bids and strategic pursuits.
• Mentoring and developing engineers across the broader maritime community.
• Collaborating with the National Maritime leadership team to support growth.
• Delivering studies, designs, technical reports, specifications and documentation.
