You will collaborate with maritime specialists and leaders across the national business, shaping strategy, mentoring engineers and delivering technically excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Significant experience in maritime and coastal engineering.
• Experience in design, assessment and delivery of ports, harbours and marine infrastructure.
• Strong consulting, engineering or project delivery experience.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for developing capability and sharing knowledge.
• Eligibility to work on Australian Defence-related projects.
• Chartered Engineer status (CPEng) or eligibility is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across maritime and coastal engineering projects.
• Support delivery of major projects across the national maritime portfolio.
• Lead or support project management and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development, bids and strategic pursuits.
• Mentor and develop engineers within the maritime community.
• Collaborate with the National Maritime leadership team to support growth.
• Deliver studies, designs, technical reports, specifications and documentation.
• Promote quality, safety and engineering excellence across project delivery.
