Job summary

KBR in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a Team Lead Maritime / Principal Maritime Engineer to drive technical leadership across ports, harbours and coastal defence infrastructure while expanding KBR's maritime presence in WA. You will mentor engineers, lead or support multidisciplinary delivery, develop trusted client relationships and contribute to bids and strategic pursuits.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
Significant maritime and coastal engineering experience is required.
Experience designing, assessing and delivering ports, harbours and marine infrastructure.
Experience using maritime/structural engineering software such as Strand7, STAAD.Pro, SESAM and/or OPTIMOOR.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across maritime and coastal engineering projects.
Lead or support project management and multidisciplinary project delivery.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and engage stakeholders.
Mentor and develop engineers across the maritime community.
Deliver studies, designs, specifications and documentation for maritime projects.
Promote quality, safety and engineering excellence in project delivery.
