Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a seasoned risk professional to lead operational risk for the Business Bank Line 2. The role focuses on ensuring products and processes manage existing and emerging risks, while delivering trusted insights and oversight.

You will advise, monitor and support risk-aware decision-making across teams. You will collaborate with Compliance, Group Operational Risk, Technology Risk and other functions to strengthen risk management, including developing AI-enabled risk

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services risk management or related environment.
• Experience building or overseeing AI-enabled risk workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify risk concerns and perform deep-dive reviews for executive audiences.
• Provide oversight of change initiatives and assurance activities.
• Advise on risk profile, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management.
• Design, develop and deploy AI agents to automate risk workflows.
