Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Lead AI and Technology Compliance to provide senior Line 2 oversight for AI initiatives, including AI-enabled tooling and technology programs. Qualifications

• Senior-level compliance experience in banking or highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Line 2 accountabilities and AI governance.
• Experience assessing compliance implications of AI-enabled solutions.
• Ability to translate risks into governance, controls and actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Line 2 compliance advice for AI matters and technology governance.
• Provide guidance on policies, standards, and controls.
• Partner with Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy and Risk teams on risk assessment of AI projects.
• Monitor regulatory developments relating to AI and technology.
• Represent Compliance in regulator engagements and handle issues and incidents.
• Lead governance reporting and executive insights on risk exposures.
• Guide monitoring, assurance and Line 2 reviews across groups.
• Build and retain a high-performing compliance team.
