Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Manager to join the CI&DT/ CDAI Line 1 Risk Centre of Excellence. You will deliver pragmatic risk advice to CI&DT stakeholders and oversee all elements of the non-financial risk framework to ensure timely risk resolution and stronger controls.

The role focuses on improving processes, change risk management, and compliance across the CDAI domain. You will collaborate with Risk, Controls and Compliance teams, uplift capabilities, and promote a proactive risk culture

Qualifications

• Experience in Operational Risk Management in Banking/Financial Services.
• Familiar with non-financial risk framework (OMRF) including incidents, controls, remediation and CSA.
• Ability to interpret complex technical solutions and recommend appropriate controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk advisory to CI&DT and CDAI strategic objectives.
• Manage non-financial risk framework elements to ensure timely resolution and improvement.
• Provide CMRS guidance for designing optimal controls in change delivery.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls through deep dives into processes and tech solutions.
• Support Crews with risk capability development and embedding robust processes.
• Collaborate with broader Risk community and stakeholders across functions.
• Uphold regulatory obligations and deliver quality customer outcomes.
