Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a Lead AI and Technology Compliance professional to provide senior Line 2 oversight for the group’s use of AI and related technologies. You will guide governance, controls and regulatory considerations while partnering with senior stakeholders to embed responsible innovation.

You will lead a high-performing team, monitor regulatory developments in AI, and ensure risk-based oversight across platforms, tools and initiatives in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance professional with regulatory expertise and independent challenge.
• Experience applying governance, controls and risk judgments to AI technologies.
• Ability to partner with Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy and Risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Line 2 compliance advice for group-level AI matters and AI-enabled tooling.
• Guide AI governance, policies, standards and controls to stay fit for purpose.
• Partner with Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy and various risk teams to assess AI risks.
