Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney, NSW, Australia, is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution Risk, Business & Wealth Risk to lead risk oversight across distribution channels. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver effective governance, enable change, and provide independent challenge.

You will work with senior leaders across customer-facing teams nationally, applying a strong risk lens from design through implementation, escalating material risks and preparing governance reports for risk

Qualifications

• Strong experience in risk management in either a Line 1, Line 2 or Audit function.
• Ability to build trusted senior stakeholder relationships and influence through evidence-based challenge.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight or risk management and transformational change across Business & Wealth as per Group strategy.
• Provide second-line oversight and challenge across risk programs and governance uplift.
• Own stakeholder outcomes; coordinate responses with senior stakeholders and embed risk results.
• Enable transformation by applying risk lens from design through implementation.
• Escalate material risks and issues to Head of Divisional Risk with sound judgement.
• Prepare clear non-financial risk and governance reports for senior Risk leaders.
