Job summary

CommBank's Retail Banking Services (RBS) invites applications for a Manager Line 1 Risk, Wealth and Private. Based in Sydney, you will partner with Wealth Partnerships to guide risk decisions and strengthen controls across insurance products and referrals.

Join a collaborative team and lead risk governance, incident management and risk reporting while supporting business growth and customer outcomes with commercial pragmatism.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk advisory, operational risk, compliance, governance or controls management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Confidently challenge stakeholders while building strong working relationships.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Wealth Partnerships to provide practical risk advice and guidance.
• Identify, monitor and support the resolution of incidents, issues and emerging risks.
• Challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement in risk management practices.
• Design and strengthen controls that protect customers and improve business outcomes.
• Support risk governance activities, including risk profiling, monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage risk across multiple products.
