Westpac is seeking an Executive Manager, Business Lending— Business & Wealth Risk in Sydney. You will sit at the centre of customer experience and risk, partnering with senior leaders to shape decisions and deliver the division’s strategy within Westpac’s Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications

Strong experience in business or consumer banking with understanding of non-financial risk.
Ability to build trusted senior stakeholder relationships and influence through evidence-based challenge.
Experience supporting significant transformation, balancing strategic objectives, customer outcomes and risk.
Experience in business lending or customer facing roles is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

Partner with senior Business Lending and Risk stakeholders to support strategic priorities and sound, customer-focused decisions.
Provide second-line risk advice, oversight, and constructive challenge across operational, compliance, conduct and financial crime risks.
Bring a strong risk lens to transformational initiatives, anticipate change impacts, and embed sustainable controls.
Oversee issue identification, reporting and remediation.
Monitor control effectiveness and promote a proactive risk culture across the division.
Prepare clear, insightful non-financial risk and governance reporting for senior Risk leaders.
