Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an Associate Manager in Wealth Distribution Risk to act as a gatekeeper and strategic partner, overseeing third-party distribution governance and risk across advisers.

You will drive data-driven insights, collaborate with Data Analytics, and report to senior leadership while embedding a proactive risk culture and delivering end-to-end ownership of risk initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of risk consulting within wealth management or related fields.
• Ability to connect data points, question assumptions, and translate findings.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor or equivalent degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify systemic risks and regulatory changes in third-party distribution and adviser relationships.
• Develop risk indicators, automated triggers, and dashboards with Data Analytics teams.
• Prepare concise executive reports highlighting exposures and recommended treatments.
• Lead governance and drive continuous improvement of the risk framework.
