Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Senior Manager Day of Operations to lead live train crewing operations for the Sydney Trains network. The role is based onsite at the Rail Operations Centre (ROC) in Alexandria with an 8-hour rotating shift pattern across a 24/7 operation, including weekend/public holiday availability.

You will drive transformational change, develop plans, and implement projects for continuous improvement and incident recovery, in a high-stability, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership level industry experience.
• Experience in day-to-day operations management within a 24/7 operational environment.
• Ability to work a 24/7 shift rotation roster.
• Category 4 medical check, or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead live train crewing operations, including resourcing and allocation for the Sydney Trains network across a 24/7 roster.
• Drive transformational change and implement strategies for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
