Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking a proactive Learning Development Coordinator (Southern) to lead training across Area Commands and Districts. You will support volunteers, coordinate learning programs, and build workforce capability in a complex operational environment.

Experience in coordinating training and assessment in vocational education or volunteer contexts is preferred. Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, plus knowledge of adult learning principles and RTO

• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound understanding of adult learning principles, competency-based training and RTO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help shape training across the RFS, supporting volunteers, strengthening capability and coordinating learning across Area Commands and Districts.
• Coordinate learning across multiple Districts with effective working relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Deliver consistent, accessible, high-quality learning outcomes by applying adult learning principles.
