NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking a Learning Development Coordinator (Southern) to shape training for volunteers and strengthen workforce capability. The role collaborates with Area Commands and Districts to coordinate learning and ensure high-quality outcomes across regional NSW.

The ideal candidate brings experience in coordinating training, a solid understanding of adult learning principles, and the ability to mentor learning personnel and volunteers within a dynamic emergency services

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating training and assessment activities in a complex operational environment.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based training.
• Ability to mentor and support learning and development personnel and volunteers.
• Experience in emergency services or similar sector is valued but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help shape training across the NSW Rural Fire Service and support volunteers.
• Strengthen capability and coordinate learning across Area Commands and Districts.
• Deliver consistent, accessible, high-quality learning outcomes in collaboration with teams.
