University of Western Australia seeks an experienced Associate Director to lead the Student Conduct and Resolution Centre, ensuring compliant, trauma-informed, gender-based violence responsive practices within a complex university setting.

The role provides strategic leadership over complaints resolution, student conduct, child safety and integrity frameworks, partnering with executive teams to drive governance, policy and data-led improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in complaints management, investigations, conduct, integrity or comparable governance functions.
• Deep knowledge of higher education, regulatory or public sector environments, including procedural fairness and risk management frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise leading complex investigations and high-risk case management with trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for complaints resolution, student conduct, child safety and integrity functions.
• Lead management and investigations of complex, sensitive and high-risk matters with defensible decision-making.
• Advise senior stakeholders and governance committees to drive governance, policy, systems and data-led improvements.
