Job summary

Translationz Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager – Language Services in Melbourne to lead growth across the language services division, focusing on winning new business and optimizing client delivery. You will shape strategy, oversee operations, and mentor staff to achieve revenue targets while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in client and/or language services.
• Track record in winning new clients and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience managing client relationships and preparing proposals.
• Strong understanding of client services operations and quality assurance.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
• Strong commercial skills including budgeting, pricing and profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to grow the language services division, including interpreting and translation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to expand services.
• Oversee service delivery to ensure quality, timeliness and client satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and develop staff, setting objectives and managing performance.
• Implement best practices in language services management, including QA and continuous improvement.
• Use technology to improve workflows, productivity and client experience.
• Manage budgets, pricing and resources to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Work with recruitment and operational teams to maintain appropriate linguist capacity, skills and coverage.
• Monitor performance and market trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
