Job summary

Quartix Ltd. is seeking a Senior IT Technician to join our Newtown office. You’ll provide 2nd line support across End User/Desktop and Infrastructure, acting as a bridge between areas while maintaining secure, reliable systems.

You’ll work with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure and cloud services, expanding your infrastructure and cloud expertise while supporting day-to-day operations and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in IT Support or Infrastructure Support.
• Strong experience with Windows 11 in a corporate environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (IAM).
• Experience with Windows Server and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Solid networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Wi‑Fi.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• PowerShell scripting or automation experience.
• IT certifications (Microsoft, Azure, VMware, CompTIA).
• Comfortable working in a growing private sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for Windows laptops, desktops and devices.
• Manage case workload with clear incident records and progress updates.
• Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analyses.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage device builds and lifecycle using Intune; patching and deployment.
• Provide admin across Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and GPOs.
• Assist with Azure services including VMs, networking and storage.
• Support core network services: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls.
• Perform routine infrastructure tasks: patching, backups, monitoring, upgrades.
• Contribute to security controls: MFA, conditional access and identity management.
• Maintain IT asset records and runbooks; produce operational reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure IT systems.
