Job summary

Stand Forestry, Australasia’s largest independent forestry services provider, seeks a commercially driven senior leader to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen opportunities identification, development and win strategies. You will contribute to the Senior Leadership Team, guiding consulting and proposals with a focus on long-term partnerships.

This high-impact role requires converting market relationships into profitable outcomes and ensuring projects and proposals meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience and knowledge of forestry, carbon and/or environmental markets.
• Established networks and ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Experience creating and executing strategic business development plans.
• Record of developing major opportunities with corporate clients into long-term commercial relationships.
• Experience successfully tendering for large service contracts.
• Strong leadership, financial analysis, communication, report-writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and evolution of Stand’s strategic business development plan.
• Build and leverage client and industry networks to identify and secure large-scale opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline reporting, revenue forecasting and achievement of targets.
• Provide leadership support for the consulting and proposals team.
• Ensure consulting projects and proposals are delivered on time, profitably and to quality standards.
• Oversee Stand’s end-to-end proposal process, including bid/no-bid, resourcing, pricing and coordination.
• Enable Abzeco’s BD and proposal activity and align processes across the business.
• Represent Stand in industry and stakeholder forums.
