Job summary

Stand Forestry Pty Ltd is Australia’s largest independent forestry services provider, delivering forest management, carbon and biodiversity services. We are seeking a commercially driven senior leader to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen how Stand identifies, develops and wins major opportunities.

You will lead strategic business development and support a high-performing consulting and proposals team.

Qualifications

• You are a credible, commercially astute leader who can operate with senior clients.
• Strong experience and knowledge of forestry, carbon and/or environmental markets.
• Established networks and ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Experience creating and executing strategic business development plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and evolution of Stand’s strategic business development plan.
• Build client and industry networks to identify and secure large-scale opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline reporting, forward revenue forecasting and targets.
• Provide leadership support for the consulting and proposals team.
• Ensure consulting projects and client proposals are delivered on time and to quality standards.
• Oversee end-to-end proposal processes including bid assessment, pricing and stakeholder coordination.
• Support Abzeco’s business development and align processes across the business.
