Job summary

Treetec in Melbourne is seeking a Manager to lead our arboricultural consulting and ecology projects, and to drive growth with government and private clients. You will balance leadership with hands-on project oversight and report writing.

You will guide an administration-supported team to work safely and professionally, build strong client relationships, develop new business opportunities, manage ecology-focused projects, and maintain high professional standards across the business.

Qualifications

• AQF Level 5 in Arboriculture (Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent) or higher.
• Proven ability to lead people and hold professional standards.
• Strong working knowledge of safe work practices.
• Current driver's licence.
• Tree climbing ability (desirable).
• Interest in arboriculture with ecology focus (habitat trees/hollows) (desirable).

Job description

We're looking for a Manager to lead the team and grow the business. An administration team supports this role, so your focus is leadership, standards and growth. Your time will be split between arboricultural consulting, management (supporting and guiding the team to work safely, efficiently and professionally, and building client relationships and new business), and environmental and habitat projects (managing ecology-focused projects and research as they come up). You'll report to the Managing Director.
