Job summary

Plantation Pine Products, part of the Borg Group, seeks an hands-on Environmental Manager to lead the environmental framework across forestry operations in Australia. You’ll assess practices, identify improvements, implement systems and provide environmental leadership in the field and at a strategic level.

The role suits an Environmental Scientist who balances strategy with execution and delivers measurable environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Management or related field.
• Knowledge of forestry regulations, EPBC, and PEFC.
• Experience developing environmental systems, policies and governance.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance.
• Willingness to spend time on site and in the field; independent initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental management across plantation operations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and certification requirements.
• Develop and implement environmental governance frameworks.
• Manage GIS mapping, spatial data and reporting.
• Coordinate audits and site inspections for compliance.
• Build relationships with regulators, landowners and stakeholders.
