Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join a major Brisbane project team. You will oversee document control within the EDMS, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor the project document control group.

Role requires strong EDMS experience (Aconex preferred), advanced MS Word skills, and excellent stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment. Immediate start on a long-term contract in Brisbane CBD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller on EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control processes and project delivery.
• Experience using EDMS platforms, preferably Aconex.
• Advanced MS Word skills with styles and publishing.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring document control teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation within the EDMS.
• Register, quality check, distribute, and track project deliverables.
• Coordinate document control activities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain document control procedures and work instructions.
• Support supplier documentation, submissions, reviews, and close-out activities.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with project standards and procedures.
• Mentor and support Document Controllers within the project team.
• Provide document formatting, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance support.
• Prepare project reporting and documentation status updates.
