Job summary

John Holland is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) team based in Albion, Melbourne. You will lead and oversee the as-built documentation process, ensuring coordination, compliance, timely close-out, and successful project delivery across major infrastructure works in Australia.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in document control, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or a similar project environment.
• Sound knowledge of project management processes, quality assurance principles, and document control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project document control registers, databases, and correspondence systems.
• Implement and manage document management systems, processes, and workflows.
• Ensure all document submissions comply with project, client, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate the development, review, approval, and distribution of design, as-built, and project documentation.
• Manage document flow between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams & maintain document version control, tracking, confidentiality, and controlled distribution.
• Oversee records management activities, including document storage, archiving, project correspondence and transmittals, while providing training, coaching, and support on document control systems and processes.
