Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd., based in Albion, seeks an experienced Senior Document Controller to lead the as-built documentation process for the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA). You will ensure timely close-out, compliance, and effective coordination across clients, consultants, and suppliers.

The role requires a qualification in a related discipline and proven document control experience in construction/infrastructure, with strong knowledge of document management systems and QA principles.

Qualifications

• Certificate or tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in document control, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or a similar project environment.
• Sound knowledge of project management processes, quality assurance principles, and document control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project document control registers, databases, and correspondence systems.
• Implement and manage document management systems, processes, and workflows.
• Ensure all document submissions comply with project, client, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate the development, review, approval, and distribution of design, as-built, and project documentation.
• Manage document flow between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams & maintain document version control, tracking, confidentiality, and controlled distribution.
• Oversee records management activities, including document storage, archiving, project correspondence and transmittals, while providing training, coaching, and support on document control systems and processes.
