Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow relationships within the data centre sector and drive end-to-end sales of integrated automation and monitoring solutions.

You will work with engineering and operations teams to develop technically sound, commercially competitive proposals, manage tenders, and maintain strong CRM records while enjoying a hybrid work model near Clayton.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management or technical sales within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Understanding of data centre infrastructure interactions between power, cooling, BMS, monitoring and control systems.
• Experience managing tenders and preparing commercial proposals and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow strategic relationships with data centre customers, identifying opportunities across new projects, upgrades and asset requirements.
• Drive new business development across data centres and related critical infrastructure environments.
• Position integrated solutions spanning Building Management Systems (BMS), automation, monitoring and digitalisation.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, tendering, quotations, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with engineering, digital solution architects and operations teams to develop technically sound, commercially competitive solutions.
• Manage pricing, cost estimates, margins and commercial risks to support profitable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and structured account plans.
• Apply value-based selling and account-based marketing strategies to grow customer engagement and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety requirements and internal commercial processes.
