Job summary

Amida Group in Melbourne seeks an experienced Senior / Contracts Administrator to join a professional team on commercial projects. Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend, ASAP start, on major fit-out and refurb works with a high-end client base.

You will manage subcontract processes, review tenders, prepare packages and procurement schedules, while controlling budgets and risk across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar.
• Minimum 3–8 years+ experience within the construction industry.
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong financial analysis and administrative focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the subcontract process.
• Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison.
• Prepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure environmental commitments and responsibilities.
• Prepare accurate payment schedules.
• Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk.
• Process progress claims, delay claims and external variations per contract.
• Prepare project budgets for review and provide rolling final account forecasts.
• Prepare and administer project completion and inspection test plans.
