Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their Sydney commercial team and manage the contractual and financial delivery of large-scale construction projects, including hotels. You will work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure procurement, contract administration and financial controls are executed efficiently.

Ideally, you bring 5+ years in similar roles, a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, and proven experience negotiating

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Contracts Administrator role within commercial construction.
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts with trade subcontractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of financial management, procurement and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing subcontractor tendering, procurement and contract negotiations.
• Preparing and managing subcontractor agreements.
• Reviewing tender docs and contracts to identify commercial risks.
• Maintaining subcontractor records, insurances and contractual documentation.
• Managing final accounts, release of securities and contractual close-out.
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks, and assisting with potential claims and disputes.
