Job summary

First Focus in Australia seeks a Senior Support Technician to join a fast-growing MSP team. You’ll stay hands-on with tech while building real client relationships and mentoring juniors, delivering smart solutions across servers, cloud infrastructure, networking, and privacy-focused security tooling.

You’ll work in a flexible hybrid setup, collaborating with senior engineers and project teams to deploy modern solutions while growing your own skills and supporting clients with calm expertise.

Responsibilities

• Being the calm voice and sharp mind clients turn to when things go sideways
• Solving issues across Microsoft AD, Azure, M365, Exchange, and Windows Server—often before the client knows there's a problem
• Supporting hybrid cloud setups like Azure, VMware, and Citrix with finesse that helps junior techs learn
• Diagnosing odd, complex problems across desktops, servers, networks, and backups
• Joining project deployments when required and contributing without hand-holding
• Building trusted relationships with key clients so they request you by name
• Collaborating with senior engineers to keep environments clean, secure, and humming
• Deep infrastructure knowledge—from desktop to firewall, LAN/WAN included
• Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and client-friendly
• A knack for complex problem-solving and smart ticket triage
• Familiarity with ConnectWise, Labtech, Kaseya, or similar tools
• A genuine desire to help, not just fix
