Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead the people side of enterprise-wide transformation, across technology, processes, organisational structures and ways of working. You’ll partner with senior leaders, executives, project teams and people leaders to ensure change is understood, embraced and embedded.

You’ll lead end-to-end change strategies, stakeholder engagement, learning, readiness, and adoption, while mentoring up to four change practitioners and contributing to the One

Qualifications

• Significant Change Management experience across complex organisational, technology or business transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated end-to-end change management experience, from strategy to sustained adoption.
• Experience leading people with direct reports and developing capability.
• Proven track record delivering change across large-scale enterprise programs or complex transformations.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and project teams to influence outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple change initiatives with quality focus.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter or similar frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver end-to-end change strategies across major organisational initiatives.
• Lead change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, learning, readiness and adoption activities.
• Partner with program and project teams to embed change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, executives and people leaders, coaching sponsorship and leadership of change.
• Use data and feedback to identify risks and opportunities and develop practical solutions.
• Support leaders and teams to understand what change means and adopt new ways of working.
• Provide mentoring, guidance and quality assurance to junior change practitioners.
• Lead and develop a team of up to four change practitioners, allocating work and developing capability.
• Contribute to ongoing development of Uniting’s Change Management Framework and practices.
• Champion a One Uniting approach to change across programs and projects.
• Promote continuous improvement and stay current with industry trends.
• Ensure change activities align with strategic priorities and values.
