Job summary

Monash University is seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to join the eSolutions team, delivering frontline AV and learning-space technology support across Caulfield and other campuses. You will troubleshoot, coordinate repairs, manage Remedy tickets, and work with academic staff and students to keep systems running for teaching, meetings and events, including Teams/Zoom Rooms and displays.

Qualifications

• Sound hands‑on knowledge of AV systems (displays, switchers, control systems, audio processing) and standardized desktop hardware/software.
• Customer focus and commitment to delivering service under deadlines.
• Problem‑solving ability with proactive fault‑finding.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (ITIL Foundation preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work standard shift rosters (including 1 pm–9 pm) and hold WWCC and a current Australian driver’s licence; travel between campuses possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide front‑line technical support (face‑to‑face and phone) to resolve AV and IT issues in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
• Act as a trusted SME for academic staff, professional teams, and students using campus AV systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and coordinate quick‑turnaround repairs for AV control systems, displays, microphones, video conferencing, and connected desktops.
• Log and manage service tickets in Remedy; contribute to service improvements and documentation.
• Collaborate with the eSolutions team to deliver seamless IT/AV operations.
