Job summary

Cresta in Australia is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize intelligent agents using our platform, collaborating with customers and engineers to deliver high-impact deployments. You’ll work on LLMs, integration with external systems, and performance tuning, applying data-driven methods and strong engineering discipline in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or a related field.
• 3+ years of full-time software development/AI/ML experience.
• Proficient in Python and Golang.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is preferred.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and DevOps practices.
• API integration and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and optimize AI agents on Cresta’s platform.
• Build AI agent integrations with APIs, databases, and CRMs.
• Tune prompts and configurations and troubleshoot deployments.
• Gather requirements with customers and translate into AI solutions.
• Deliver interactive demos and gather feedback for iterations.
• Define milestones and coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery.
• Partner with PMs and engineers to align goals with product roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, security, and scalability.
