Job summary

Cresta is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AI agents for enterprise customers. You will collaborate with customers, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions across APIs, data pipelines, and external systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software/AI roles, strong Python and Golang skills, and hands-on experience with LLMs and AI agent frameworks. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of full-time experience in software development/AI/ML engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python and Golang with clean coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, function calling, and RAG concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and optimize AI agents using Cresta’s platform.
• Integrate AI agents with external systems via APIs & data pipelines.
• Tune prompts and configurations to improve agent performance.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather requirements.
• Conduct demos and provide proof-of-concepts to customers.
• Define project milestones and coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Advise customers on best practices for AI agent adoption and scalability.
