Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria is seeking an Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager in Melbourne. You will deliver culturally informed, strengths-based case management for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients with complex needs, supporting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meaningful case management for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients, focusing on behaviour change and completing correctional orders.
• Create tailored cultural support plans to meet the needs of Aboriginal clients.
• Assess risk factors and develop individualised case plans to support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders and community teams on culturally safe approaches.
• Build partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and support services to improve access to culturally appropriate resources.
• Attend Koori Court to provide advice and support where needed.
