Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, is seeking an Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager in Mildura. This fixed term, full time role supports Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients with complex needs, guiding rehabilitation and reducing reoffending through culturally informed practice.

You will develop cultural support plans, assess risks, and collaborate with Aboriginal organisations and the Koori Court to improve outcomes and access to appropriate resources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meaningful case management for clients focused on behaviour change and correctional orders.
• Create tailored cultural support plans for Aboriginal clients.
• Assess risk factors and develop individualised case plans to support rehabilitation.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on culturally safe approaches.
• Build partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and support services.
• Attend Koori Court to provide advice and support when needed.
