Job summary

My client, based in Sydney, is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales in the Transport & Distribution sector. You will generate new business opportunities, build client relationships, craft sales strategies and close deals to drive revenue growth.

Key requirements include proven sales or BD experience in 3PL or freight forwarding, strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency with CRM tools, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in 3PL or Freight Forwarding.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to support revenue growth.
